Skyhigh Security

Skyhigh Security is one of the two companies created when McAfee's enterprise business was broken up. Symphony Technology Group bought that business in 2021, merged most of it with FireEye to create Trellix, and separated the cloud security products into Skyhigh Security in 2022. The lineage runs back to Skyhigh Networks, the cloud access security broker McAfee had acquired in 2018. What it sells is security service edge: protecting data as it moves to and within cloud services rather than protecting devices. Its platform covers secure web access, a cloud access security broker, private access and data loss prevention, with Skyhigh Cloud Firewall — listed here — as the firewalling component delivered from its cloud.
