Skyhigh Security is one of the two companies created when McAfee's enterprise business was broken up. Symphony Technology Group bought that business in 2021, merged most of it with FireEye to create Trellix, and separated the cloud security products into Skyhigh Security in 2022. The lineage runs back to Skyhigh Networks, the cloud access security broker McAfee had acquired in 2018.
