Zyxel is a Taiwanese networking manufacturer founded in Hsinchu in 1989, best known for the modems, routers and switches it sells to homes, small businesses and internet providers. Its security products sit at the small and mid-size end of the market, where the buyer wants one appliance rather than a security programme. The USG FLEX series is the main firewall line, with the USG FLEX H series as the current hardware generation, and the ATP series above it adding sandboxing and threat intelligence subscriptions.
