Topsec

Topsec is one of the oldest names in Chinese network security, founded in Beijing in 1995 and credited domestically with building China's first firewall. It is listed in Shenzhen and reports more than 100,000 customers, largely government, carriers and state enterprises. Its range covers the perimeter and the operations centre: TOPSEC NGFW as the next-generation firewall, with TopIDP for intrusion prevention, TopWAF for web applications, TopEDR on endpoints, TopScanner for vulnerability assessment and TopACM for access control, alongside an industrial control firewall for operational technology networks, a data security management platform, security SD-WAN and, more recently, a gateway for controlling large-language-model traffic. Its market is domestic and its products are certified through Chinese national schemes rather than the international malware laboratories. What this index can record for it is the product line rather than comparative test results.
