Securion is a South Korean company in Seoul specialising in mobile and Internet of Things security — protecting devices against firmware and operating system vulnerabilities and against malicious applications, rather than defending desktop PCs. Its products are OnAV, the AI-based antivirus listed here, OnTrust, its broader mobile and IoT security platform, and OnAppScan, which analyses applications for malicious behaviour. The emphasis throughout is on devices that ship with fixed firmware and are rarely updated, which is a different problem from the one desktop antivirus solves. It is a small and specialised vendor whose market is domestic. It does not appear in the international public test cycles, so the laboratory columns here will be empty for it.
