Its products are German-made network infrastructure with security built in: R&S LANCOM Unified Firewalls as the appliance line, with R&S LANCOM vFirewall as the virtual edition, alongside the routers, switches and wireless equipment the LANCOM name has long carried, managed through the LANCOM Management Cloud. Its proposition is the one several German vendors in this index make and few can back with a parent of this size: development and manufacture in Germany, no foreign disclosure obligations, and certification for public-sector use. It is bought by German public administration and mid-sized industry, and assessed through those certification schemes rather than by malware testing.
