Rakeen is a Saudi Arabian security manufacturer, part of SITE, the Saudi Information Technology Company, and exists as part of a national programme to build sovereign security products rather than import them. That is the most useful thing to know about it: its market is Saudi Arabia and the wider Gulf, and its customers are largely government and critical national infrastructure. Its products span network and endpoint: Rakeen Next Generation Firewall, Rakeen Intrusion Prevention System, Rakeen EPP and Rakeen Antivirus, with an XDR platform and the combined Rakeen Security Suite above them, sold as both hardware appliances and virtual machines. It is new by the standards of this index and does not enter the European public test cycles, so its rows here carry product facts rather than laboratory results.
