Oracle is a database and enterprise applications company whose presence in this index comes from its cloud platform, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, rather than from a security product line of its own. OCI Network Firewall is a managed firewall service for workloads running in Oracle's cloud, offering stateful inspection, intrusion prevention and TLS inspection at the network boundary. It is worth knowing how it is built: the service uses Palo Alto Networks' firewall technology delivered as an Oracle-managed service, so what a customer buys from Oracle is another vendor's engine with Oracle's operations and billing around it. It is available only within OCI and is charged as cloud consumption. Like the other cloud-native firewalls here, it is not something the malware laboratories test.
