CMC InfoSec

CMC Cyber Security is the security arm of CMC Corporation, one of Vietnam's two largest technology groups, with offices in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. It is one of only a handful of Vietnamese companies developing an antivirus engine of its own rather than reselling someone else's, and it sells mainly inside Vietnam, to government, banks and enterprises as well as to households. Its products are CMC AntiVirus Professional and CMC Internet Security for endpoints, CMC EPP and CMC EDR for managed organisations, CMDD for centralised malware prevention, CMC WAF for web applications and C-Shield for protecting mobile applications. It also sells security operations services, holding ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 20000, SOC 2 and CREST accreditations for its testing and monitoring work. Its detection results here come from the few international tests it has entered; like most national-market vendors in this index, it appears in the European public cycles far less often than the global suites do.
