Product

Ruggedized industrial next-generation firewall with OT protocol DPI and site-to-site VPN. EdgeFire 1012 is a compact industrial next-generation firewall with CPSDR technology, 200 Mbps+ threat prevention throughput, and support for Modbus, SECS/GEM, CIP, and more. Purpose-built for industrial networks, EdgeFire combines OT-native deep packet inspection with Cyber-Physical Systems Detection and Response (CPSDR) predictive threat detection and AI-powered policy generation. Deploy EdgeFire 1012 at cell boundaries to isolate each line, enforce protocol-level access control, and contain incidents before they spread across your facility. It is available as a hardware appliance.

Vendor

TXOne Networks exists because two companies with different halves of the problem put them together: it was founded in 2019 as a joint venture between Trend Micro, which knew threat detection, and Moxa, which knew industrial networks. It is headquartered in Taiwan and sells only into operational technology — factories, utilities, pharmaceutical plants, semiconductor fabs. Its products reflect how those environments actually work. EdgeFire, listed here, and EdgeIPS are the network appliances, understanding industrial protocols and able to run in transparent mode so they can be inserted without re-addressing a plant network. Stellar protects the endpoints themselves, including the unpatchable legacy Windows machines that run much industrial equipment, and Portable Inspector scans machines that can never be connected to a network at all. That last category is the clearest illustration of the difference from IT security: where a machine cannot take an agent or a patch, the answer is an inspection device carried to it. Vendor page →
