Vendor

Tencent is one of the two largest internet companies in China — WeChat, games, payments, cloud — and its security products exist to serve that scale rather than as a business of their own. It is headquartered in Shenzhen and listed in Hong Kong. Two kinds of product appear here. 腾讯电脑管家 (Tencent PC Manager) is the free consumer security and maintenance utility for Windows, installed on a very large number of Chinese PCs, with an international edition released under the Tencent PC Manager name. The rest is Tencent Cloud's enterprise range, sold under the T-Sec brand: T-Sec 云防火墙 (Cloud Firewall) for cloud workloads and T-Sec iOA 零信任安全管理系统, its zero-trust access management system. Tencent's anti-malware engine has been submitted to the international laboratories at times, so some results exist, but the products are built for the Chinese market and sold within it. Government restrictions

US Department of Defense list only

DoD Chinese military companies list since January 2025; Tencent disputes it.

Named a "Chinese military company": the DoD may not contract with it. Nothing restricts other buyers. Each measure above names Tencent, not this product specifically, and applies only where it says. CSI records what a government has published and links to it; this is not an assessment of the product, and the product stays listed so the record can be read. Lists were last checked on 2026-10-09.
