Product

NU-series UTM/NGFW appliances with DPI application control, IPS, antivirus and SSL inspection. With AI IPS and AI Sandstorm, NG UTM enhances detection of unknown threats, abnormal behaviors, and advanced malware, enabling smarter and more proactive security defense. NG UTM also supports HA redundancy for uninterrupted services, while integrating centralized management for switches and wireless APs. Combined with the ShareTech Cloud platform, administrators can monitor network and device status in real time through a single interface. It is available as a hardware appliance.

Vendor

ShareTech is a Taiwanese network security manufacturer selling unified threat management appliances, mail security and industrial gateways, mostly in Taiwan and the surrounding region. Its main line is the next-generation UTM firewall, sold as hardware models rather than named editions — the NU series for general use, the INF series for internal segmentation, Edge and HiGuard units for smaller sites, and OTS-600 for operational-technology networks. Mail security is a separate business, with its MS mail servers and MA mail archive servers, and Eye Cloud is the management platform across the range. Appliance vendors of this size are assessed by procurement testing and regional certification rather than by the malware laboratories whose results fill much of this index, so the absence of a laboratory score for ShareTech reflects where it sells rather than how it performs.
