Vendor

REVE Antivirus is the security line of REVE Systems, a telecom software group whose main business is something else entirely — SMS platforms, VoIP switching, session border controllers and contact-centre software sold to carriers in some 80 countries over more than 20 years. The antivirus is developed by its own team and sold separately from the telecom range. Households buy REVE Antivirus, REVE Internet Security and REVE Total Security, with REVE Antivirus for MAC, REVE Antivirus for Linux and REVE Mobile Security for other platforms. Organisations buy REVE Endpoint Security, REVE Endpoint Cloud and REVE Windows Server Security. For a buyer, the useful thing to know is that this is a security product from a company whose centre of gravity is telecommunications, sold largely in South and Southeast Asia. That does not make it better or worse, but it does mean the product is not the company's main business, and that independent test results for it are correspondingly scarcer than for vendors that sell nothing else.
