NSFOCUS is a Chinese network security company best known for one thing: absorbing denial-of-service attacks. It builds both the appliances that scrub attack traffic and the cloud service that does it at scale, and its published mitigation capacity is among the largest in the industry. It is headquartered in Beijing, listed in Shenzhen, and runs an international arm out of Santa Clara — one of relatively few Chinese security vendors with a real Western presence.
