Vendor

Max Secure Software is a small Indian security company founded in Pune in 2002 by Sanjay and Rachna Pradhan. It develops its own detection engine and sells directly and through Indian resellers, mostly to households and small offices. Its products are Max Total Security, Max Secure Anti Virus Plus and Max Secure Spyware Detector, with editions for Android, macOS and Linux workstations and utilities such as Max Registry Cleaner alongside them. The Spyware Detector line is the one the company is best known for and predates the full antivirus suite. This is a genuinely small vendor by the standards of this index, and that is the most useful thing to know about it: the range is narrow, the market is largely domestic, and independent laboratory results are correspondingly scarce.
