Vendor

INCA Internet is a Seoul security company best known for something most antivirus makers do not do: protecting online games. Its nProtect GameGuard is one of the most widely deployed anti-cheat and game-security products in Asia, and for many users the nProtect name arrived not by choice but bundled with a game or a bank's website — Korean online banking long required a browser security module, and INCA supplied one. Its two brands divide the business. nProtect covers online, mobile and game security: nProtect Online Security, nProtect GameGuard, nProtect AppGuard, the nProtect KeyCrypt keyboard-security products, nProtect Mobile AV and nProtect FakeOut. TACHYON is the malware line: TACHYON Endpoint Security, TACHYON Internet Security, TACHYON Total Security and TACHYON Linux Security, with patch management, media control and DLP around them. It holds Common Criteria, GS, KCMVP and VB100 certifications. Its market is overwhelmingly Korean, and its products appear in the international public test cycles only occasionally. Vendor page →
