Product

Files.com is a vendor-hosted cloud service that combines hosted SFTP, FTPS, FTP, WebDAV and AS2 servers with a web app, share links and inboxes for file exchange. Automations route files on a schedule or on arrival, and connections reach external servers and cloud storage; an optional on-premise Agent links local systems to the service. The vendor states a FedRAMP Moderate authorisation granted in August 2026, not yet in GSA’s published Marketplace data. Files.com is the modern, cloud-based replacement for the MFT products IT teams have been running since the 2000s. Managed file transfer (MFT) is software for moving files between people, systems, and trading partners, and Files.com is a modern MFT platform that runs in the cloud. Files.com is the cloud-native alternative, used by 4,000+ companies including Equifax, Rag & Bone, Cognizant, Michelin, and TowneBank. It is available as a cloud instance.
