Bkav is a Vietnamese technology group, founded in Hanoi in 1995, for whom antivirus is the original business but no longer the only one: it also makes smartphones (Bphone), wireless earbuds, AI cameras, smart-home systems and e-government platforms for the Vietnamese state. That breadth is unusual among the vendors here, and it means the security products sit inside a much wider consumer electronics and software business.
Its security line is sold almost entirely inside Vietnam and carries the company's own name: Bkav Pro and Bkav Pro AI for households, Bkav Home as the free tier, Bkav Pro Mobile on phones, Bkav Safe Kids for families, Bkav Pro Edu for schools, and Bkav Endpoint AI with Bkav Pro Endpoint AI Cloud for organisations.
Bkav's research team is well known domestically for its work on Vietnamese-language threats and on national infrastructure incidents. Its products appear rarely in the European public test cycles, so an empty laboratory column here reflects the absence of a submitted test rather than a poor result. Vendor page →
