AsiaInfo Security is a Chinese enterprise security company with an unusual parentage: it was formed in 2015 when Trend Micro's China business was combined with AsiaInfo, the Chinese telecoms software group, into a joint venture — so its endpoint technology descends from Trend Micro's while the company itself is Chinese-owned and Chinese-run. In late 2024 it completed the acquisition of AsiaInfo Technology, the Hong Kong-listed telecoms software business it had been affiliated with. Its products are sold under their own names rather than Trend Micro's: TrustOne for endpoint security, DeepSecurity for cloud host protection, AI XDR for cross-product detection, CNAPP for container security, MAXS as its security management and analysis platform, and ImmunityOne as a shared-defence SaaS. It sells to Chinese enterprises, carriers and government, and does not enter the Western public test cycles.
