Vendor

AsiaInfo Security is a Chinese enterprise security company with an unusual parentage: it was formed in 2015 when Trend Micro's China business was combined with AsiaInfo, the Chinese telecoms software group, into a joint venture — so its endpoint technology descends from Trend Micro's while the company itself is Chinese-owned and Chinese-run. In late 2024 it completed the acquisition of AsiaInfo Technology, the Hong Kong-listed telecoms software business it had been affiliated with. Its products are sold under their own names rather than Trend Micro's: TrustOne for endpoint security, DeepSecurity for cloud host protection, AI XDR for cross-product detection, CNAPP for container security, MAXS as its security management and analysis platform, and ImmunityOne as a shared-defence SaaS. It sells to Chinese enterprises, carriers and government, and does not enter the Western public test cycles. The Trend Micro lineage is the most useful thing to know when placing its detection technology, but the two are separate companies today and their results should not be read across. Vendor page →
