Vendor

Arista Networks builds high-performance switching for data centres and large campuses, founded in 2004 and listed on the New York Stock Exchange. Security became a product line in 2022, when it acquired Untangle, a maker of firewalls for small and mid-sized organisations. That is the product listed here: Edge Threat Management NG Firewall, formerly Untangle NG Firewall, a network firewall with web filtering, intrusion prevention and application control, sold as software, hardware or a virtual machine and managed centrally across many small sites — which is how the managed service providers who buy it use it. Arista's own security work is aimed at the data centre and the campus, where its CloudVision and network detection products monitor traffic its switches already carry. Neither is the sort of product the malware laboratories test. Vendor page →
