Arcabit is a Polish antivirus maker based outside Warsaw, and one of a small number of national-market vendors in this index that still develop their own engine rather than licensing one. It sells mainly in Poland and mainly in Polish, and it holds VB100 certification from Virus Bulletin. Its range covers households, organisations and — unusually — schools as a named market: Arcabit Home Security, Arcabit Internet Security, Arcabit Small Office Security, Arcabit Endpoint Security, Arcabit Server, Arcabit Android Antivirus and Arcabit Bezpieczna Szkoła, the last of these sold to Polish schools and named for it. Arcabit Skaner Online is its free on-demand scanner, and RoundKick EDR, Safe Storage and Safe Browser are sold as modules. A reader comparing it with the larger vendors here should expect fewer independent test results rather than worse ones: vendors selling into one national market enter the international public test cycles far less often than those selling globally, and an absent result in this index means no test was found, not a test that was failed.
